The Leupold Vari X IIc 3 9x40mm riflescope offered here is a discontinued, American made Leupold from 1998 in the RARE silver finish, a configuration that is noticeably harder to find today than standard black scopes and especially desirable for stainless or silver toned rifles and period correct classic builds. The 3 9x magnification range remains one of the most practical hunting setups ever made, providing a wide field of view on the low end with enough magnification for precise shot placement at distance, while the 40mm objective keeps the scope streamlined and well balanced on traditional sporting rifles.
