The Savage Springfield Model 67 Series D is a classic American pump-action shotgun that reflects the practical, no-nonsense design philosophy common to mid-20th-century utility firearms. Produced under the Springfield brand name by Savage Arms primarily during the late 1960s and 1970s, the Series D variant represents one of the more refined evolutions of the Model 67 line, incorporating incremental improvements in durability, safety, and handling over earlier versions. Typically chambered for 12-gauge 2¾-inch shells, it features a steel receiver paired with a tubular magazine beneath the barrel, and its pump action is smooth yet robust, using dual action bars to ensure reliable cycling and resistance to binding.
