Bryant Ridge Co. is pleased to present this American-made pocket pistol for a penny-start auction; this is the L.W. Seecamp LWS-380!
- “Larry” (Lueder) Seecamp, son of the founder, oversaw Seecamp during its later years in Milford, Connecticut. After the company shut down, the brand was purchased, and production moved to Massachusetts. This example is an original Milford-made Seecamp, not one of the later Massachusetts models, which makes it more desirable to collectors. It will ship with a magazine signed by Larry Seecamp himself. -

Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
L. W. Seecamp Co. was founded in 1973 by Ludwig (Louis) Wilhelm Seecamp, a skilled gunsmith trained in pre-World War II Germany. Seecamp immigrated to the United States in 1959, where he also worked as a gun designer for the shotgun manufacturer O.F. Mossberg. Specializing in double-action conversions for the 1911 Colt .45, Seecamp's expertise led him to focus on the miniaturization of pistols in 1978. His innovative designs culminated in the development of the Seecamp patented spring system, which is now used in nearly all modern locked breech miniaturized semi-auto pistols, solidifying his legacy in the world of firearm engineering.

Seecamp pistols are renowned for their compact, durable design, with an emphasis on reliability and ease of use in close-quarters defense. Featuring a double-action-only (DAO) trigger mechanism, these pistols ensure a smooth and consistent firing sequence, with the hammer resting in the down position after each shot. The small, lightweight pistols, such as the Seecamp LWS-25, which was produced from 1981 to 1985, offer discreet carry and rapid deployment, with models like the LWS-32 and LWS-380 becoming highly sought after by collectors and concealed carry enthusiasts. Seecamp’s commitment to precision engineering and compact form has made their pistols a top choice for personal defense, especially in situations requiring close-range accuracy.
