Based on a heavily customized SIG Sauer MPX Carbine, the JW3 configuration reflects the exacting modifications performed by Taran Tactical Innovations for the film, including a lightweight carbon fiber handguard, TTI magwell, BCM stock, and Trijicon MRO optic. Its high-profile appearance during the Continental Hotel shootout cemented the “JW3 MPX” as one of the most recognizable modern movie firearms, quickly gaining a devoted following among both film enthusiasts and serious firearms collectors. According to the owner, this example was personally owned by Jade Struck, a competitive shooter and firearms instructor, further enhancing its provenance and appeal.

Wrapped around the barrel is a Lancer 14-inch carbon fiber handguard featuring a blue and purple gradient TTI silicon carbide grip texture, which provides both lightweight strength and superior hand purchase for aggressive handling or rapid transitions. The package swaps in a Next Level Armament charging handle, known for its ergonomic design and reliable operation even under stress, and a TTI Ultimate MPX Magwell to speed reloads while ensuring positive magazine alignment.
