The SIG Sauer P238 is a highly regarded micro-compact, single-action .380 ACP pistol introduced by SIG Sauer at the 2009 SHOT Show, designed to offer classic 1911-style ergonomics, premium build quality, and reliable performance in a size perfect for concealed carry or as a discreet backup handgun. Drawing inspiration from the Colt Mustang and traditional single-action pistols, the P238 combines an anodized aluminum alloy beavertail frame with a stainless-steel slide, creating an all-metal build that distinguishes it from many polymer-framed competitors in the pocket-pistol category while keeping the unloaded weight around 15 oz.
