The SIG Sauer P365 is a game-changing micro-compact 9mm that rewrote expectations for concealable carry by offering genuine firepower, modern ergonomics and real shootability in a body small enough to disappear on the hip or in a pocket; introduced in 2018, the original P365 surprised the market by delivering a flush-fit 10-round magazine in a genuinely pocketable frame (and since then the family has grown to include 12-, 15- and even 17-round magazine options and multiple slide/frame lengths), giving users the rare combination of compact dimensions with capacity that approaches larger duty pistols. Mechanically, it’s a striker-fired, polymer-frame autoloader with a crisp, defensive-oriented trigger, a low bore axis, and a grip geometry that points naturally — interchangeable/extended magazines and optional backstrap/ grip-module choices let shooters tailor the hold and capacity without sacrificing concealability.
