The M&P22 Compact is Smith & Wesson’s polymer-frame, rimfire take on the popular M&P platform scaled to a 4–6? compact pistol size for plinking and training. It’s chambered in .22 LR, ships with 10-round magazines, uses an internal hammer action, and weighs roughly 15.3 oz unloaded with an overall length of about 6.6–6.7? depending on barrel option. The pistol keeps familiar M&P ergonomics (polymer frame, textured grip) while offering a small, light package for casual shooting and practice. Key specs and features to expect on the Suppressor-Ready variant: a 3.56" (˜3.5") stainless steel barrel factory-threaded 1/2?-28, adjustable sights, ambidextrous manual safety, and two 10-round magazines included on many kits.
