The 1913 Colt 1911 U.S. Army in .45 ACP, finished in its original brushed blue, is one of the most historically significant and visually striking examples of early American military sidearms, representing the second full year of production of John Browning’s revolutionary design and capturing the transitional machining and finish characteristics that collectors prize today.
