Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Colt Police Positive, introduced in 1907, was an enhanced version of the earlier New Police revolver, incorporating Colt's "Positive Safety" feature for improved reliability. Highly popular among police departments for its compact and lightweight design, the Police Positive was produced from 1907 to 1947 in various configurations. The First Issue models, manufactured from 1907 to 1927, were available in .32 Colt, .32 Colt New Police, and .38 New Police, which is essentially .38 S&W. Barrel lengths ranged from 2 ½" to 6", and the revolvers were offered in bright blue and bright nickel finishes. Initially equipped with hard rubber grips, the Police Positive transitioned to checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions starting in 1923. This combination of features made the Police Positive a favored choice for law enforcement and remains a notable example of Colt’s early 20th-century firearms design.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
