Developed by the legendary John Moses Browning and produced by Colt's Manufacturing Company from 1908 to 1948, the M1908 was marketed as a "Vest Pocket" pistol, small enough to be discreetly tucked away in a gentleman’s waistcoat. Functionally, the M1908 is a striker-fired, single-action pistol chambered in .25 ACP, a cartridge designed specifically by Browning for compact firearms.
