The Colt Commando was a US military revolver built from 1942 - 1945 with approximately 50,000 examples produced. They were made in 4" and the more rare 2" variants. It's rumored that some 6" examples were made. This particular model is highly desirable among Colt collectors world wide.

As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Colt is in Amazing condition overall showing much less indications of use and handling over the years that is usually found on these models.
