Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Nicknamed Ukko-Pekka after former President Pehr Evind Svinhufvud, the M/39 rifle was a compromise between the Finnish Army and the White Guard aimed at standardizing Mosin-Nagant production. The M/39 was largely based on the M/28-30 but featured modifications proposed by the Army, including the addition of a semi-pistol grip to the stock, though some early models retained the traditional Mosin-Nagant straight stock. By the end of the Winter War, only 10 M/39 rifles had been completed. However, production ramped up significantly afterward, with 96,800 rifles manufactured for use in the Continuation War. Small numbers were assembled from leftover parts between the late 1960s and 1973, bringing the total production to approximately 102,000.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
