The Remington Model 141 Gamemaster is a pump-action repeating rifle that was introduced in 1935 as a successor to the earlier Model 14 and remained in production until 1950. Designed by Remington Arms Company as an updated and refined version of John Pedersen’s original design, the Model 141 featured improved ergonomics, including a longer 24-inch barrel and a beavertail-style forend for better handling. It retained the innovative spiral-grooved tubular magazine from its predecessor, which moved with the fore-end and allowed for the safe use of pointed bullets by preventing primer contact. A distinctive brass cartridge head was embedded in the side of the receiver to indicate chambering. The rifle was offered in four Remington-developed rimless centerfire cartridges: .25 Remington (available only in early production and discontinued by 1936), .30 Remington, .32 Remington, and the most popular, .35 Remington.

Approximately 77,000 Model 141 rifles were manufactured, with serial numbers ranging from 00001 to about 78,000. Though production ended in 1950, the Model 141 was officially replaced by the Remington Model 760 Gamemaster in 1952. Rugged, dependable, and accurate, the Model 141 earned a strong reputation among hunters and remains a respected classic among collectors.
