The Colt Woodsman 2nd series is a semi-automatic rimfire pistol produced from 1947 to 1955. It was designed by John Browning and has a reputation for cycling just about any type of 22 LR ammo. Total production on all 2nd Series (not including the Challenger) was approx. 146,000, serialization has "S" suffix. Mfg. 1947-1955.
