The Colt Woodsman is a semi-automatic pistol designed by John Moses Browning and manufactured by the U.S. Colt's Manufacturing Company from 1915 to 1977. The pistol underwent three distinct series of frame design changes: series one from 1915 to 1941, series two from 1947 to 1955, and series three from 1955 to 1977. In 1948, Colt resumed production of the Woodsman with the same three models but built on a longer and heavier frame. The newer models also featured a magazine safety, automatic slide stop, and magazine release located at the rear of the trigger guard.

This example is in Phenomenal condition showing no evidence of extensive consumer use or handling that we can see. This example will ship with the original Colt box.
