Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Remington 550-1 is a semi-automatic rifle that uses .22 caliber ammunition. It was manufactured by Remington from 1946 to 1970 and features a classic wood stock design. The rifle feeds from a tube magazine and can shoot .22 short, long, or long rifle ammunition. With a comfortable length of pull, it's perfect for adults who will use it for decades. However, it may be slightly awkward for small children. The rifle has a safety mounted on the right side of the receiver near the top, in contrast to a push-button near the trigger found in other rifles like the Browning SA22. The Remington 550-1 is one of those cool, old rifles that even tactical gun collectors will end up loving: it shoots well, eats cheap ammo, and has enough nostalgia factor to bring us right back into the woods on a cold Christmas morning when your dad let you shoot your new rifle at cans.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
