Based on a John Browning design, the Remington Model 24 is a .22 caliber semi-automatic takedown rifle (the mechanism on this particular rifle is under the forend). The rifle features a buttstock magazine tube, and a bottom ejecting receiver that directs the spent casings down and away from the shooter's face. This action allows for a more pleasant, and safer shooting experience.
