The Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 is one of the most iconic and sought-after bolt-action rifles in American firearms history, often referred to as “The Rifleman’s Rifle.” Introduced in 1936, the Pre-64 Model 70 was designed as a premium sporting rifle built on the legacy of the earlier Model 54, featuring a controlled-round-feed (CRF) action derived from the legendary Mauser 98.
