The Anschutz Model 1516 is a bolt-action hunting rifle that is chambered in .22 Magnum. The best competitive shooters in national, international and Olympic shooting events commonly use Anschutz rifles.The 1516 uses the Anschutz Match 64 action where the bolt lever rotates on a cylinder and allows the shooter to re-chamber with very little movement. The round .22 Magnum was specifically designed for hunting small game and is extraordinarily suitable to be used for small animals up to the size of a fox at a distance of up to 100 m.
