The Colt Frontier Scout is a family of single-action six-shot revolver chambered in 22LR or 22 Mag. A 4.75” barrel is adorned with a notch rear sight and a blade front sight. An aluminum alloy frame is capped with checkered grips in either walnut or black, ensuring users will have a secure grasp on this gun as they get their fun in plinking tin cans or other targets using the Frontier Scout. Made by Colt in 1962 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of New Mexico being admitted as the 47th State of the United States.
