Colt Officers Model Match chambered in .38 Special. The Officer's Model Match was made from 1953 to 1969. It has a 6" heavy tapered Barrel. The rear sight is Colt's Accro fully adjustable. The hammer is the wide diamond-checkered Target hammer that became famous on the Colt Python. The finish is blue and the grips are Colt's Target type fully checkered walnut with silver medallions. These were Colt's premium match grade revolvers at the time with hand honed actions, adjustable target sights, target hammers, and full-size target grips.
The Colt Officer’s Model Match revolvers were made specifically for competitive shooters. The hand-honed action of these revolvers helped shooters win many championships, and they are generally known to be one of the finest target revolvers ever manufactured!
