The Colt Targetsman Model was Colt’s value-priced target pistol of the postwar era, closely related to the Huntsman but distinguished by its adjustable rear sight and a left-side thumb-rest grip designed to enhance steady one-hand accuracy. Produced only with a 6-inch barrel, the Targetsman offered shooters an affordable entry into precision .22 LR target work without sacrificing Colt’s proven Woodsman-series ergonomics.
