Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Erma, a now-defunct company, had a rich history of producing various unique firearms. The company originated in Germany and initially focused on manufacturing MP-40 submachine guns, alongside Erfurt. They also produced .22 conversion kits for military weapons, which were used for training purposes. In the 1960s and 1970s, Erma recognized the potential for new production of Lugers in the market. As a result, they designed and produced the LA-22, a Luger clone that shoots the .22LR round. They released several other models before going out of business in 1997.
Even though Erma is no longer around, the LA-22 still has a lasting impact. Many models of this gun can still be found on the used gun market. Currently, there are two .22LR Lugers available for purchase. One is made by Erma, and the other is made by Stoeger. Stoeger's version is American-made and is considered less desirable than Erma's. Additionally, Stoeger's design is less similar to that of a Luger than Erma's.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3-day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
