Smith & Wesson manufactured this particular Model 14 in single action only, it was typically produced as a double action revolver! Pulling the trigger only rotates the cylinder, but it does not lift the hammer. This variant was only produced from 1961-1982! This is truly a rare find!

The Smith & Wesson Model K-38 Target Masterpiece Revolver Model 14 is a six-shot, double-action revolver with adjustable open sights built on the medium-size "K" frame. It is chambered for the .38 Special cartridge, and most were fitted with a 6 in or 8 3⁄8" barrel. This particular example is the highly desirable 8 3/8" pinned barrel model that is highly sought after!
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Smith is in Excellent condition showing no indications of regular consumer use or handling that we can see!
