The Browning Superposed Lightning in 12 gauge is a classic over/under shotgun that represents the peak of mid-20th-century shotgun craftsmanship and design innovation. Designed by John M. Browning and introduced in 1931, the Superposed was Browning’s final firearm design and was notable for being one of the first commercially successful over/under shotguns. This particular example features 26-inch vent ribbed barrels, a 2 ¾" chamber, and a bead front sight, making it ideally suited for upland bird hunting or competitive clay shooting.
