Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
ERMA Werke (Erfurter Maschinenfabrik, often simply written as Erma) was a German small arms manufacturer that operated from 1924 to 1997. The company traced its history back to a state-owned arms factory in Erfurt, which was closed after Germany's defeat in World War I. The factory's director, Berthold Geipel, along with many of the engineers that worked there, set up Erma in 1924.
The Erma EP-25 is small hammerless, single action pistol chambered in 25 ACP (6.35mm). The EP-25 is a copy of the Ortgies Pocket pistol that was named after its inventor George Ortgies and manufactured in Erfurt, Germany between 1919-1924. The manufacturer Erma Werke was then revived in the same city, with much of the same machinery, in 1952.
This example was manufactured in 1968 according to the date code. It features a blue finish, 2 3/4" barrel chambered in 6.35mm(.25 ACP), fixed sights, and smooth walnut grips with Erma medallions.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
