Made by Colt in 1970 to celebrate the sesquicentennial of Maine, this is a limited edition Colt Frontier Scout revolver. The gun is in about Excellent condition with only some light handling marks in its beautiful gold and silver finish. The revolver comes with a wood Colt presentation case and gold-finished Maine lobster. Formerly a province of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Maine seceded and became a state in 1820. Since then it has become famous for its lobsters as well as a favorite vacation destination for many Americans. This would be a great find for a Maine resident. A limited edition gun like this, with only 3,000 made, would also interest the Colt collector in general.
