MADE IN U.S.A.” The left side of the receiver is stamped “H&R.” The left side of the barrel is stamped “U.S. MODEL 1873 / CAL. 45-70 GOVT” and “P.” The lockplate, hammer, breech block lever, top of the breech block, trigger guard, top tang, top of the breech block, top of the frame, and top of the barrel band have scroll engraving. The top of the buttplate is marked “U.S.” and has scrolls.
