The Remington Nylon 66 was produced between 1959 and 1989 and was the first mass-produced rifle to feature a stock made from synthetic material instead of wood. This was a significant risk for Remington, but it proved to be worth it. The synthetic construction made the Nylon 66 operate excellently without any additional lubricants, and it was highly reliable in all weather conditions. There were some concerns that the light weight of the gun could affect its accuracy, but Nylon 66 shooters haven't reported any problems. It's one of the lightest rifles available, making it ideal for plinking and perfect for long trips into the field when you don't want to carry a heavy varmint rifle. This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a vintage plinking rifle in excellent condition!
