Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Ruger Single-Six revolver is a single-action rimfire handgun manufactured by Sturm, Ruger & Co. It was first introduced in June of 1953. The current version of this revolver is known as the New Model Single-Six, which includes Ruger's transfer bar mechanism for enhanced safety. The term "New Model" refers to the addition of the transfer bar mechanism, which allows all six chambers to be loaded while carrying the revolver safely. Before 1973, the Single-Six did not include the transfer bar mechanism, making it less safe to carry with all six chambers loaded and the hammer resting on a loaded chamber. The transfer bar safety feature ensures that the revolver will only discharge when the trigger is pulled. Ruger offers a free transfer bar safety upgrade for owners of the old model Single-Six, although it may have a significant impact on the trigger pull.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
