Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Browning B-2000 occupies an interesting place in Browning’s semi-automatic shotgun history, representing the company’s attempt during the 1970s to modernize its autoloading lineup while bridging the gap between the legendary Auto-5 and the later gas-operated designs that would follow. Introduced in 1974 and produced until the early 1980s, the B-2000 was a gas-operated, lightweight sporting shotgun built with Browning’s typical emphasis on handling and craftsmanship. Although assembled in Portugal, the major components—including the barrels and receivers—were still made in Belgium, allowing Browning to maintain its heritage of quality during a time of shifting manufacturing practices. The B-2000 featured a clean, slim profile, excellent walnut furniture, and a relatively soft recoil impulse compared to the long-recoil Auto-5, making it appealing to upland hunters and clay shooters looking for a more comfortable and modern-feeling semi-auto.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
