Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
This Colt revolver set is arguably one of the most significant collections ever produced for Colt collectors, representing three of the most iconic firearms from three generations of Colt's illustrious revolver production. The set includes the Colt Python, the Colt Single Action Army, and the Colt Dragoon, each a symbol of its era and a testament to Colt’s mastery of revolver design and engineering. The Colt Python, introduced in 1955, represents the pinnacle of modern Colt revolver design. Known for its superb craftsmanship, smooth action, and precision, the Python was aimed at the premium revolver market and quickly became highly sought after by enthusiasts and collectors. Described by many notable firearms experts, including Jeff Cooper and Chuck Hawks, as perhaps the finest production revolver ever made, the Python exemplifies Colt’s commitment to excellence in both design and manufacturing, blending modern innovations with the rich legacy of its predecessors.

This set will ship with the Original Factory three-drawer wood case. Each drawer is lined with red velvet and equipped with a lock. Inside the case, there is also a leather-bound book labeled “ARMSMEAR” on the spine. The book is titled “The Home, the Arm, and the Armory of Samuel Colt. A Memorial,” along with all other items shown in the pictures above. The owner states that the firearms remain New Old Stock and we see no evidence to indicate otherwise.
