Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Lawman was a revolver with fixed sights and a Service type design. Its original features included a narrow, grooved Service type hammer and narrow grooved trigger. However, later models came with the same wide Target hammer as the Trooper Mark III. The grips on the original version were narrow Service grips, but later production models often had Target grips. Nickel and Coltguard finished guns were equipped with Pachmayr "Signature" rubber grips with Colt medallions.
This revolver had a heavy 4-inch barrel and a 2-inch barrel. The early production 2-inch guns had the same exposed ejector rod as the 4 inch version, while later production models had a heavy, shrouded ejector rod barrel that made the gun look like a giant Detective Special. The 4 inch version retained the exposed ejector rod. The 2 inch Lawman also had a rounded butt with special grips that were not used on any other Colt revolver. The Lawman came in three finishes: bright blue, bright nickel, and satin electroless nickel. It was designed to fire .357 Magnum caliber ammunition.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
