This is a Browning BDA (Browning Double Action) made by Sig Sauer and is the same as their model 220. This one was made in 1977, the first year of production. It has the early contoured slide, thin slide serrations, polished slide flats, and a spur hammer. This is the rarest of the BDA pistols, it is chambered in .38 Super of which only 752 were made. For the Browning or Sig Sauer collector, this would make a good addition, but it would also make a nice home defense, or a recreational shooting pistol.
