Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
According to the included Colt Factory Letter this Colt was shipped to Morris & Dickerson Co., Ltd. Sport South Inc. at 106 McNeil Street in Shreveport, Louisiana on August 25, 1977. There was one gun in the shipment and furnished with a presentation case. It also features factory class "C" standard lever scroll engraving.
In the history of modern double action American handguns, the Colt Python revolver stands above all others. It was born in the mid-1950's in a post-war era in which quality was already starting to fall from the heights that American gun making had attained in the 1930's and 40's. Going against the grain of fast, mass production firearms made of stamped and fabricated parts and "Space Age" plastics and aluminum, the Python was intended to be the finest revolver ever made in America, and it met that goal.
This is a true centerpiece to your Snake Gun Collection that anyone would be proud to display. Very seldom do factory engraved Nickel Pythons show themselves, dont miss your chance to ass this one to your collection today!
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Python is in what we consider to be PHENOMENAL Condition showing no indications of previous consumer use or handling that we can see whatsoever! Additionally, it will ship with the glass top presentation case, factory Colt letter and all the other original contents pictured above.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
