Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Colt Ace .22 semi-automatic pistol was first introduced in 1931 and produced until the beginning of World War II. However, due to the original blowback-operated Ace's functioning issues, which could not always move the slide backward for proper ejection and reloading, the production halted. In 1937, the Service Model Ace was introduced, which addressed the problem by introducing a floating-chamber design for more reliable functioning. This model was produced until 1945 when Colt ceased production of the Service Model Ace. 1978 Colt reintroduced the Ace Service Model, which continued production until 1982. Colt also offered a conversion unit called the Ace II, which allowed the conversion of a standard Model 1911-type pistol from .45 ACP to .22 Long Rifle for many years.

This example will ship with a Colt box (label absent), Colt factory letter, and Papers.
