Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL / MADE IN BELGIUM” followed by “CHROME”. The right side of the upper barrel is marked “PATENT PENDING / SPECIAL STEEL 12GA. SHELLS 2 ¾””. The receiver is fully engraved with scroll engravings. The trigger guard also features scroll engravings.
Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Manufactured in Belgium in 1981. Single nickel bead sight on the vent rib, with the barrels marked for chrome lining, improved modified/improved cylinder chokes, 2 3/4 inch chambers and ejectors. The bright frame is scroll engraved, with a combination safety/barrel selector, single trigger and "Browning" on the underside. Checkered pistol grip stock, with a Schnabel tip forearm and a Pachmayr White Line recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches to the end of the pad, 13 inches to end of wood.
