Markings: Standard / On right of barrel engraved silver words “Calgary Stampede Commemorative” / The receiver’s left side engraving depicts a brace of horse-drawn wagons over the prairie complete with vine floral borders. On the right side, there is an engraved Cowboy with an opened lasso that creates a circle around him and the words “Calgary Stampede”. This receiver panel also has the vine floral borders. The upper tang reads "Model 1894 Winchester". The right side of the buttstock has the letters CS stamped into the wood.
Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
This Winchester Calgary Stampede Commemorative has a blued, round Trapper Style barrel of 16”. The magazine tube is full-length. It sports a bead front sight coupled with an elevator adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. The deeply-blued barrel has, on the right side, the engraved silver words “Calgary Stampede Commemorative”. On the left side, is the two-line Model 94, Caliber and Winchester address. The engraved stainless-steel receiver has a matte Pewter finish. The receiver’s left side engraving depicts a brace of horse-drawn wagons over the prairie complete with vine floral borders. On the right side, there is an engraved Cowboy with an opened lasso that creates a circle around him and the words “Calgary Stampede”. This receiver panel also has the vine floral borders. The upper tang reads Model 1894 and Winchester. The serial number is located on the bottom of the receiver. The forearm and buttstock are finished in high gloss. The right side of the buttstock has the letters CS stamped into the wood. The butt-plate is a highly blued Carbine style.
