SPECIFICATIONS:
Manufacturer: Colt
Model: Lawman MK III
Serial: 20076U
Date of Manufacture: 1982
Caliber: .357 Magnum
Finish: Polished Blue
Barrel Length: 2" with Barrel Shroud
Optics/Sights: Ramp Blade Front with Square Notch Rear
Stock/Grips: Checkered Colt Medallion Wood Grips
Action: Double
Markings: Standard
Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Lawman was a fixed-sight revolver designed for service use, initially featuring a narrow, grooved Service-type hammer and trigger. Over time, later models adopted the wider Target hammer from the Trooper Mark III. Early versions were equipped with narrow Service grips, but as production progressed, many were fitted with Target grips. Nickel and Coltguard-finished models often came with Pachmayr "Signature" rubber grips adorned with Colt medallions. Available in heavy 4-inch and 2-inch barrel lengths, the early 2-inch variants had an exposed ejector rod similar to the 4-inch model, while later 2-inch guns featured a heavy, shrouded ejector rod, giving them an appearance reminiscent of a larger Detective Special. The 4-inch version retained the exposed ejector rod. Unique to the 2-inch Lawman was a rounded butt and specialized grips not seen on other Colt revolvers. The finish options included bright blue, bright nickel, and satin electroless nickel, with the revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
