The Smith & Wesson Model 539 was produced for only three years, from 1980 to 1983, with a reported total of a total 8,159 units produced. Approximately only 1,975 of those featured nickel finishes. This example would make a perfect piece for any Smith & Wesson collector due to its short three-year production and its rare nickel finish!
