The Marlin Model 60 is one of the most popular and recognizable .22 caliber rifles ever produced, with continuous production from 1960 until 2020. Chambered in .22 Long Rifle, it features a 22-inch Micro-Groove barrel, a blued finish, and a smooth hardwood stock, combining classic styling with reliable performance. Its semi-automatic action and tubular magazine made it a favorite for small-game hunting, target shooting, and casual plinking. Known for its accuracy, thanks to Marlin’s Micro-Groove rifling, the Model 60 also incorporated practical features such as a manual and automatic last-shot bolt hold-open, making it both safe and user-friendly.
