According to the included factory letter from the U.S. Repeating Arms Company Custom Shop Manager, this particular Winchester Model 70 Ultra Grade, serial number UG 93, holds special historical significance. It was selected as the official display piece for the 1983–84 show season and was prominently featured at several major national exhibitions, including the SHOT Show in Dallas, the Antique Arms Collectors Show in Las Vegas, and the NRA Show in Milwaukee. Further elevating its status, UG 93 was also showcased on the cover of the January 1985 issue of Rifle magazine.
