The Walther GSP, Gebrauchs Sportpistole, is a semi-automatic precision targetshooting pistol with an unlocked breech action. Introduced in 1968, the GSP was quickly a hit with target shooting competitors. Featuring anotomical, adjustable grips (left handed grips were even available upon request from Walther), this pistol was designed to fit perfectly in your hand. Conversion units were also available for easy caliber changes. Walther even offered a version chambered in .32 S&W at the end of 1971. Interestingly, this pistol is now considered an "assault weapon" in New York state, as well as Chicago and Cook County, due to the 5 round capacity magazine of 22LR being outside the grip.
