Bryant Ridge Auction Company is pleased to present this Limited Edition lever-action rifle today for a penny start auction, this is the Winchester 1894 Carbine (Winchester-Colt Commemorative)!

In 1984, Winchester and Colt collaborated to manufacture a special commemorative to honor their symbiotic relationship during Western Expansion. Winchester and Colt were the two big companies that aided in "winning the west" with their Iconic firearms. Colt's was the Single Action Army and Winchester's was the Lever Action Rifle!

 Approximately 2,300 sets were produced in EXTREMELY LIMITED NUMBERS and many of them have been split apart over the years and sold individually with prices being discounted. There was an overall total of 3,250 produced making them very collectible and the perfect choice for your firearm collection!

Markings: Standard / The left side of the Winchester barrel is marked “WINCHESTER –  – MODEL 94 44-40 WIN. / MADE IN NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL”. The underside of the frame is marked “805WC” and the bottom tang is marked “-Mfd. by U.S. Repeating Arms Co.- / -Winchester TM’s licensed from- / -Olin Corporation-”. Each side of the barrel has a gold foliate scroll with a Winchester logo on the left and the Winchester factory on the right. The sides of the receiver have a gold border and foliate scroll, Winchester cowboy logo and ovalled “WC” on the left with a portrait of Oliver Winchester on the right. The top tang has Oliver Winchester’s signature in gold.
