The Winchester Model 23 Golden Quail Series was only made for a total of 4 years. Each gauge was only made one of the specific years with a LIMITED quantity of 500 EACH YEAR!
This example is a 20 Gauge, manufactured in 1984, and is number 207 of 500!

With so many classic designs, the Winchester collector has many options but few are as rare or beautiful as the Model 23 Golden Quail series. Produced in 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987, five hundred Golden Quail series guns were made in 20 GA, 28 GA, 12 GA and .410, respectively. The 20 gauge was made in the first year of production for the Model 23, considered by many to be one of Winchester’s greatest shotguns. This example is in Excellent condition with no evidence use that we can see and it comes with its Winchester Golden Quail luggage case in equally excellent condition. Its beauty is matched by functionality, the engraved coin-finished receiver and beautiful walnut stocks paired with a mechanical single trigger and selective ejectors.
