The Harrington & Richardson Model 088 — marketed in later H&R catalogs as the “American Classic” — is a utilitarian single-shot, break-action shotgun manufactured in Gardner, Massachusetts, from 1979 to 1986. It was produced in 12, 16, 20, and 28 gauges as well as .410 bore.
