Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Remington 700 is one of the most famous bolt-action rifles in America. It has been popular for decades and is used for target shooting, hunting, and law enforcement. Remington had been making sporting rifles for a long time. However, their Post-WWI Model 30 Sporter was expensive and time-consuming to make. It also required a lot of milling. After World War II, they developed the Model 721, which used a receiver made of bar stock. This reduced production time and cost. Engineer Mike Walker then improved the design of the Model 721, which led to the production of the Model 722 and 725. In 1962, the Model 700 was created. Walker aimed to increase accuracy over previous designs. Therefore, the 700 used tight bore and chamber tolerances, a short leade, and a fast lock time. Since its creation, the Model 700 has been made in almost any caliber and configuration you can think of. If it hasn't, custom parts and gunsmiths are available to make it exactly how you want. This 700 Classic Limited Edition is in excellent condition with strong mechanics and a great bore. The Classic was a standard offering in the Remington product lineup before it became a limited offering on a one-caliber-a-year basis. The one caliber chosen for the year 1987 was .338 Win. Mag. Whether you decide to take this classic American out in the fields or keep it collected in a safe, chances are you won't be disappointed!
