Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Browning A500 is a 12-gauge shotgun that has been designed for hunting and sporting clays. It is available in both standard and magnum models and comes with a variety of barrel lengths and chokes. This shotgun is a great choice for both hunters and shooters who are looking for a reliable and affordable firearm.
The A500 was discontinued in 2006, and replaced by the Browning A500R. The A500R is similar to the A500, but uses a different gas system. The A500R is available in 12, 20, and 28 gauge, and .410 bore. It has a magazine capacity of four rounds in 12 gauge, and five rounds in 20 and 28 gauge. It is chambered for shells up to three inches in length. The A500R uses Browning’s patented Reverse Striker gas system to cycle the action. This system uses two pistons to operate the action; one piston is located in front of the barrel, and the other is located behind the barrel. The front piston operates when the gun is fired, and cycles the action by pushing on a rod that runs through the center of the gun. The rear piston is used to return the gun to its original position.
The A500R has a number of safety features, including a trigger block safety and a magazine disconnect safety. The trigger block safety prevents the gun from being fired unless the trigger is fully depressed. The magazine disconnect safety prevents the gun from being fired if the magazine is not inserted into the gun. The A500R is available in a number of different stock configurations, including pistol grip, English stock, and Turkish stock. It also has a number of different barrel options, including ventilated rib, ported barrel, and bull barrel.
