The Colt Whitetail II was a limited edition revolver manufactured by the Colt Custom Shop with an overall total of only 500 ever produced, making this a very RARE AND COLLECTABLE piece!

The Whitetailer II is a limited edition model that was produced by the Colt Custom Shop and is quite similar to the Mark V Whitetailer. It is based on the Colt King Cobra and comes equipped with a Burris 1.5-4x scope and features an 8" full lug ventilated rib barrel and a stainless steel finish. Only 500 units of this model were ever produced! The Colt King Cobra is a double-action revolver with a medium frame and a six-round cylinder. It was designed and manufactured by the Colt's Manufacturing Company and was marketed to both law enforcement agencies and civilian firearms enthusiasts. Available in both blued and stainless steel finishes, the King Cobra comes with a variety of barrel lengths and is chambered for both centerfire .357 Magnum ammunition and the .38 Special cartridge. The design of the King Cobra is based on that of the earlier Colt model, the Trooper MK V. However, it has been improved with the addition of a heavier-duty barrel, a full barrel-length cylinder ejection rod protection shroud, and a thicker solid rib on top of the barrel. The King Cobra was first introduced in 1986, discontinued in 1992, and then reintroduced back into Colt's product line in 1994. It was dropped for a second time in 1998.
