This Smith Wesson 629-2 is the Limited Production "Classic Magnum" with only 750 manufactured in 1989 for Acusport! It features a 7 1/2" full lug barrel, unfluted recessed cylinder, .500" target hammer, .400" smooth target trigger, and is held by pebble grain rubber Hogue Monogrips.
Introduced in 1978, the Smith & Wesson Model 629 is a stainless steel version of the Model 29. The 629 model designation derives from Smith & Wesson's practice of denoting a stainless steel version of one of their already existing designs by placing a 6 in front of the model number of the original weapon. The 629 Classic variant features a full-length barrel underlug, other variants include the 629 Stealth Hunter.
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this S&W is in Superb condition showing no indications of previous consumer use or handling that we can see! Additionally, it will ship with the orignal factory labeled box and manual.
